While most pizza's are loaded with fat and salt, this recipe dramatically reduces both without giving up that rich pizza flavor. We've served it to adults and children and received praise from all. You don't have to tell them it's good for them! Makes 6 large servings or 12 small.
1 package sliced sour dough French sub sandwich rolls
1 pound low fat mozzarella cheese, grated
8-10 ounces low fat, low salt sliced salami or sliced sandwich meat
Vegetable Chicken Spaghetti Sauce (1/2 batch)
Lay French bread halves on 2 baking sheets, trimming crust side so they lay level.
Layer cheese, sauce, cheese, meat, cheese on top of bread.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until some of the cheese on top starts to brown.
