Benefits And Uses For Flavonoids:

Flavonoids are natural Antioxidant nutrients found in certain foods.  They help protect the body against virus, allergy, cancers, cardio-vascular diseases and inflammation. 

Deficiency Symptoms Of Flavonoids:

No deficiency symptoms have been linked to Flavonoids, but a poor diet can reduce all nutrients to a deficient level.

Toxicity (Overdose) Symptoms Of Flavonoids:

Flavonoids are non-toxic when taken in their natural food source, but no tests have been made concerning the safety factors in long-term use of concentrated supplements. 

Foods High In Flavonoids:

Fresh fruits and vegetables, teas (particularly green tea), hops, beer, red wine.

Supplements Of Flavonoids:

Because of the harmful effects of alcohol, we don't suggest you use beer or wine to supplement Flavonoids.  A daily cup of green tea is an excellent and inexpensive way to add Flavonoids to your diet.  We also recommend you consume 5 or more servings of fresh fruit and vegetables.  If you choose to supplement beyond that, always choose a reputable, well-known supplier who produces supplements from concentrated natural plant material.
